Pencil Portrait of Aunspaugh

I did this pencil portrait of Aunspaugh about 1979 or 1980. I used a soft graphite drawing pencil, probably the ebony grade by Sanford/Design, which was my favorite back then ~ I was introduced to it in college. A 5 or 6B soft drawing pencil would be similar. I can see room for improvement in the features and proportions ~ the eyes are probably too close set, the proportions of features to face somewhat elongated. I still like this portrait though. I've gotten away from my drawing roots ~ a pity! I couldn't do this again today without lots of practice.
